It's recently come to my attention that I'm horribly lazy when it comes to colouring my artwork.

I have this theory that I'm scared to mess a drawing up by colouring it. I never used to colour anything. I have a ton of drawings in my sketch books that haven't seen the light of Deviantart specifically because I was scared to colour them and opted for shading instead.

And some of them were really good...until pencil rubbed off.

The nice thing is I'm actually trying to start colouring things digitally. My drawing of Dearka and Miriallia is a work in progress, as is my Dearka as a Leafs player. It's been awhile since I put my tablet to use, and I'm excited to have a bit more time to do so (though now I'm totally jealous of the new tablets. They're so much nicer than they were when I bought mine.)

And really, this is a nonsense post and my keeping my mind off the storm headed in my direction. I really, really hate 2-3 a.m. thunderstorms. It gets freaky in the basement by yourself >.<
